Online sales education for a product launch

Icare used Claned to provide the necessary competence for sales

The task

Icare, a Finnish medical device company released a new product called ic100 tonometer, which measures pressure inside the eye. Daily measurement is essential for patients with a suspected glaucoma. Dealing with medical equipment, Icare had to make sure that also their sales staff knew the right way to use the product.

The challenge

Having employees in different countries, Icare was not able to gather everyone for face to face education. Nevertheless, they needed to make sure their sales staff had the necessary competence for selling the product.

The solution

Icare created online training using already generated sales materials combined with necessary instructions for the new product. The materials were easily embedded to Claned and Icare was also able to test the knowledge of the sales representatives. Those who passed the test, received a certificate.
